2025 marks the 32nd anniversary of the Academy Award®-winning short film Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, and the Brass Band of Northern Virginia (BBNV) is thrilled to announce its exclusive partnership with Aardman Animations to bring the film, accompanied by a live brass band performance, to audiences in the United States for the very first time.

A Historic U.S. Premiere
Following the success of previous live performances in the UK, this event marks the first time in the United States that The Wrong Trousers, or any Aardman film, will be screened with a live brass band performing its iconic score.
Audiences can look forward to an unforgettable program, including a special short concert of Peter and the Wolf, followed by the full screening of The Wrong Trousers with its score performed live.

The Wrong Trousers tells the tale of eccentric inventor Wallace as he takes in a new lodger, a cunning penguin named Feathers McGraw. Wallace’s loyal dog, Gromit, quickly discovers that their guest has sinister intentions, culminating in a daring diamond heist and a thrilling train chase. Packed with humor, heart, and action, this beloved claymation classic has enchanted audiences for over three decades.

The Brass Band of Northern Virginia (BBNV) is one of the premier brass ensembles in the region, celebrated for its artistry and dedication to bringing brass band music to diverse audiences.
